Celebrate the essence of festival art through colors, traditions, and mythological storytelling in the 1st Festivals Art Competition at TERAVARNA India. Whether it’s a visual ode to Diwali lights, a painting of Durga’s power, or an abstract impression of Holi’s spirit — we want to see it all.
At TERAVARNA India, art for us is not merely a pretty picture; it is an instrument for storytelling. With thousands of years of rich tradition, India is the light of mythological depth and celebratory spirit. From the epic tales of the Ramayana and Mahabharata to the deep underlying symbology of Diwali, Holi, Eid, Christmas, Onam, Pongal, and the innumerable regional celebrations, there is an infinite world waiting to be painted in colors, forms, and emotions. This competition is a creative tribute to that spirit.
Awards & Prizes
Win cash prizes of up to Rs. 25,000, awarded to up to 25 artists. **
The grant money will be unrestricted and may be used in any manner by the recipient artist. Depending on the number and quality of artworks submitted, the following prizes will be considered:
First Prize Award | ₹3000-₹5000
1-2 Second Prizes | ₹1500-₹2500
2-4 Third Prizes | ₹1000-₹1500
5-8 Fourth Prizes | ₹500-₹750
7-10 Fifth Prizes | ₹200-₹300
All artists will be given professionally-designed award certificates.

Festivals—Embrace the joy, symbolism, and spirit of global and Indian festivals. Mythology-inspired works, traditional motifs, cultural rituals, and symbolic representations are all welcome.
As a nationwide celebration of artistic expression, this event welcomes artists of all levels to showcase their vision of Indian festivals—from Durga's divine strength and Shiva's cosmic dance to Holi's vibrant chaos and the serenity of Buddha Purnima.
Fee
Rs. 250 per artwork (non-refundable) for this competition. # No limit on the number of artworks you can enter. Each submission is treated individually.

We accept file sizes up to 2MB as preferred.
3. How should I crop my image?
